Is Status A Good Fit For You?

The trucking industry has been around for many years and it will be around until the end of time. Therefore there are many trucking companies out there. So how do you choose one you can call home? How do you know if a company is a good fit for you as an Owner Operator?

First you should define what you are looking for. You have to consider all components: pay, home time, region of operation, help that you might need with trailer, plates, insurance, IFTA, etc. Also are you looking for a smaller company or something as big as Landstar?

So are we a good fit for your business?

Status Transportation covers all 48 states. We offer two options for our Owner Operators: OTR or Regional. Our regional areas consist of your home state and at least the five surrounding states. You can run more than that, however you cannot run less. Over the road drivers tend to stay out 2-3 weeks at a time while regional drivers just have to run at least 5 days out of the week.

Do you need a trailer? We can provide and maintain the trailer for you. You just pay $50/week for rent. All of our trailers are 2012 or newer and go through our certified mechanics before released to an Owner Operator.

Do you need help with your plates? Status can help you out. We have a plate program available at a low weekly cost.

Do you need help obtaining bobtail insurance? Status Transportation has a group policy with competitive rates for our owner operators.

Do you need help with fuel? We provide fuel cards. The fuel card is accepted at most fuel stations and has discounts up to 6 cents a gallon at the pump. This could save you $200+ a week in fuel alone!

Above you can see more of what we offer, though it is best to talk to a representative to discuss all options in detail.
